This is one of those songs I dubbed off the radio, and it made it on to some of my early mix tapes in the early ’90s.
I didn’t realize until now that Bad English is basically half of Journey (keyboardist Jonathan Cain and guitarist Neal Schon) + John Waite. Of course, it’s that guess who sings Missing You. And that this song was written by soft rock songwriting icon Diane Warren. So…nothing like Modern English.
