This is THE song to blast after a good first date…or if you’ve just learned that you’re going to have a first date…or if you’re just imagining asking someone out for a first date…or if every time is liking seeing her for the first time!
Where I’d rate this song is so mood-dependent. If I happen to be high on someone, well, this could be a Top 10 song. If I’m not high, but rather I’m in a paralyzing low, this is the last song I want to hear. Thus, it falls somewhere in the middle of the countdown.
In mixes, I might place this after a couple of slow or depressing tunes to revive the mix, should I want a mix that has a point of revival.
I’m stunned that this song received no notice outside of the U.S. In fact, only two Survivor songs had any degree of popularity outside of the U.S. Maybe we’ll get to those later.173. Survivor • High On You,
